Bring your skateboard and show off your skills in the skate park at the De Bres sports complex. Our skate park is 80 m long and 15 m wide, making it one of the largest skate parks in Flanders.
Three zones for skaters of all levels
Both experienced and fledgling skaters are welcome here to practice their skills. The skate park is fully made of polished concrete and is divided into three zones. The first of these zones is the pool. The pool is connected to the rest of the skate park by a spine, meaning you can move on to another zone of the park without getting off your board. The second zone is a street zone with a range of banks, a flat rail, ledges, a wallride, a pyramid and much more. The final zone consists of an open bowl with a hip, extension and death box.
Learn to skate
Not yet mastered all the tricks of the board? The Stoked Board Academy is on hand to teach you the ways. The Academy offers skateboard lessons in the form of skate camps, weekly lessons, sports days, taster sessions and workshops for boys and girls aged six to sixteen.
You'll be learning all the tricks, of course, but you'll also find out more about how to warm up, stretch and fall correctly, and how to prevent injuries. On top of that, you'll also be initiated into the unwritten rules of the skate park, such as wait your turn, help each other out, encourage one another and respect the environment. As you can see, skateboarding is much more than a sport!
