Warandepark in Essenbeek is a true gem. Two fascinating ponds, natural play elements to feed the fantasy, a boardwalk, a mysterious stretch of woodland and a playground are all waiting for you right in the centre of this town on the outskirts of Halle. Warandepark may have been nothing more than a field of corn at the start of the 1990s, but it has since been transformed into a stretch of accessible greenery with fun for young and old. On top of that, every last Wednesday of the summer holidays, the park becomes the setting for Warandedag, an afternoon of fun with all sorts of activities for kids.
Of course, this is not the only place for kids to play in Halle. Eager to see where else you could be going? Click to see all playgrounds in Halle!
