Aquatic fun and epic play are guaranteed at Halle's water playground. Find it on Graankaai, next to Sportoase Hallebad: right in the centre of the city and easily accessible to everyone! Let the water find its way through a water wheel, valleys, locks and dams!
The play equipment mainly uses rainwater, for which the playground has no less than 1,052 square metres of reservoir space and 55,000 litres of buffer space. When there is a shortage of rainwater, the playground can switch to using mains water. The water playground also offers a lawn to relax on and a foot-rinse station.
Fun fact: Idee ZKT stad
The water playground was one of the winning ideas of the Idee ZKT Stad campaign, during which residents were able to submit proposals for a more enjoyable Halle at the start of the new city council term. The campaign resulted in around 600 ideas. Several residents put forward the suggestion of a water playground, and their dream has now been realised!
